Money-Back Guarantee:
Customers may cancel their orders before shipment for a full refund, minus a 3% fee to cover credit card processing charges incurred by Harvest Right.

Returns After Shipment:
Once a freeze dryer has been shipped, customers may return the product within 30 days of the ship date for a refund. Shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

3-Year Limited Warranty

Coverage Period:
All Harvest Right Freeze Dryers purchased after February 1, 2019, are covered by this warranty.

Full One-Year Warranty (U.S. Continental 48 States Only):

• Warranty Duration: One year from the original ship date.
• Included: Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
• Coverage: Harvest Right will repair or replace any defective part of the freeze dryer or vacuum pump (at our discretion).
• Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for service call costs and replacement parts due to misuse or neglect. Please refer to the "Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer" below for details.

Limited 3-Year Warranty:

• Coverage Duration: Covers the second and third years from the original ship date.
• Coverage: Harvest Right will repair or replace parts of the sealed refrigeration system (compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing) that fail due to defects in materials or workmanship.
• Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for diagnostic charges and costs associated with transportation and delivery for service.

Limited Warranty for Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico:

• Warranty Period: Same as above.
• Coverage: Includes premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
• Service: Service will be provided by a customer-approved local service provider, or the customer is responsible for shipping the unit to Harvest Right for repairs. If the customer must ship the unit to Harvest Right, a shipping credit may be issued.

Limited International Warranty (for all countries not listed above):

• Warranty Period: One year from the original ship date.
• Coverage: Includes premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
• Support: Service is available via telephone and email. Parts required for repair will be provided at Harvest Right's discretion.
• Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for costs associated with local service, parts due to misuse, and the shipping of parts from Harvest Right.

Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer

This warranty applies only to freeze dryers used in clean environments and operated in accordance with Harvest Right’s instructions. The consumer is responsible for the following:

1. Proper Usage: Operate the appliance as instructed in the manual.
2. Correct Installation: Ensure installation follows provided instructions and complies with local electrical codes.
3. Power Supply: Ensure proper connection to a grounded power supply of sufficient voltage, and handle issues such as blown fuses or faulty wiring.
4. Operating Conditions: Use the appliance in a well-ventilated space, maintaining temperatures between 35°F (2°C) and 95°F (35°C).
5. Damage During Installation: Avoid damage during installation. Do not lift the unit by the door.
6. Maintenance: Properly maintain and operate both the freeze dryer and vacuum pump.
7. Food Dryness: Ensure that freeze-dried materials are completely dry before packaging.
8. Storage: Use durable containers that prevent water or air from penetrating once sealed.
9. Oxygen Absorbers: Ensure proper, fresh oxygen absorbers are included in the sealed container to prevent air exposure.

Note: Harvest Right does not take responsibility for the quality of freeze-dried food, the packaging of materials, or the contents within.

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

1. Modifications or Aftermarket Accessories: Any modifications or third-party accessories void the warranty.
2. Consequential or Incidental Damages: Includes property damage, lost profits, or other incidental expenses.
3. Service Calls Without Malfunction: Service requests unrelated to defects or malfunction are not covered.
4. Unauthorized Service: Damages caused by unauthorized service providers are excluded.
5. Non-Harvest Right Parts: Parts not supplied by Harvest Right or its authorized dealers are not covered.
6. External Causes: Damages due to misuse, inadequate power supply, or acts of God.
7. Altered Serial Numbers: Units with altered or removed serial numbers are not covered.
8. Extension Cords: Using an extension cord instead of a direct connection to the power supply voids the warranty.
9. Personal Injury Claims: The warranty does not cover personal injuries or economic loss.
10. Transfer of Ownership: The warranty does not apply if the unit is resold or not owned by the original purchaser.
