Returns After Shipment Once the freeze dryer has shipped, customers have up to 30 days to return it. Refunds will be issued minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
3-Year Limited Warranty
All Harvest Right Freeze Dryers sold after February 1, 2019, are covered by this warranty.
Full 1-Year Warranty (Continental U.S.)
Warranty Period: 1 year from the original shipping date.
Coverage: Includes Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
Harvest Right's Responsibility: Repair or replace any part of the freeze dryer or vacuum pump found to be defective in material or workmanship.
Consumer's Responsibility: Pay for service calls and replacement parts resulting from misuse or neglect.
Limited 3-Year Warranty
Warranty Period: For the second and third years from the original shipping date.
Coverage: Includes repair or replacement of any part of the sealed refrigeration system (compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing) that fails due to defective material or workmanship.
Consumer's Responsibility: Pay for diagnostic services, transportation, and delivery costs associated with repairs.
Warranty for Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico
Coverage: Same terms as above.
Service: Customer or an approved local service provider must arrange for repairs. The consumer is responsible for the transportation of the unit or the travel costs of a technician. If the unit must be shipped back to Harvest Right for repairs, the consumer may be eligible for a shipping credit based on the current shipping policy.
Limited International Warranty (All Countries Not Listed Above)
Warranty Period: 1 year from the original ship date.
Coverage: Includes Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
Support: Available by phone and email. Necessary parts will be provided by Harvest Right.
Consumer's Responsibility: Pay for local service, parts replacement due to misuse, and shipping costs for parts from Harvest Right to the consumer.
Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer
This warranty applies only to freeze dryers used in clean environments and operated according to Harvest Right's guidelines. Consumers must ensure the following:
Proper Use: Follow the provided instructions for use.
Installation: Install according to the provided instructions and comply with all local electrical codes.
Power Supply: Ensure a grounded power supply with sufficient voltage. Replace fuses and repair house wiring if necessary.
Environment: Operate the freeze dryer in a clean, well-ventilated area, between 35°F (2°C) and 95°F (35°C).
Avoid Damage: Do not lift the unit by its door or cause other installation-related damage.
Maintenance: Regularly maintain and operate the freeze dryer and vacuum pump as instructed.
Food Quality: Ensure food is fully dried before packaging.
Proper Packaging: Use durable, sealed containers that prevent air and moisture penetration.
Oxygen Absorbers: Use fresh, unexpired oxygen absorbers in sealed containers with freeze-dried material.
Harvest Right does not assume responsibility for the quality of freeze-dried food or materials or for the packaging process.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
Modifications: Any changes or aftermarket accessories void the warranty entirely.
Consequential Damages: Including property damage or incidental expenses due to breach of this warranty.
Service Calls: Not related to defects in material or workmanship.
Unauthorized Repairs: Damage caused by repairs not authorized by Harvest Right.
Non-Authorized Parts: Parts not supplied by Harvest Right or its authorized suppliers.
External Causes: Including misuse, inadequate power supply, or acts of nature.
Altered Serial Numbers: If serial numbers are removed or altered.
Extension Cords: Using an extension cord instead of a direct power connection.
Injury or Economic Loss: Claims for personal injury, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit.
Non-Original Owner: Warranty is void if the freeze dryer is not owned by the original purchaser.
