Customers may cancel orders before shipment and receive a refund, minus a 3% fee to cover the credit card processing costs incurred by Harvest Right.
Once the freeze dryer has shipped, customers have 30 days from the ship date to return it for a refund, excluding shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee.
3-Year Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to all Harvest Right Freeze Dryers sold after February 1, 2019.
Full One-Year Warranty
- Valid only for customers in the contiguous 48 U.S. states.

Harvest Right's Responsibility: Repair or replace any part of the freeze dryer and/or vacuum pump found to be defective in material or workmanship.

Consumer's Responsibility: Service call costs, and potential replacement parts resulting from misuse or neglect. See below for "Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer."
Limited 3-Year Warranty

Warranty period: Years 2 and 3 from the original ship date.

Harvest Right's Responsibility: Repair or replace parts of the sealed refrigeration system (compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing) that fail due to defective materials or workmanship.

Consumer's Responsibility: Diagnostic fees and any costs related to transportation and delivery for service.
Limited Warranty for Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico
- All warranty terms apply as above, except that the customer must arrange for service through a qualified local provider approved by Harvest Right.
- The customer is responsible for shipping costs to the repair center or technician travel costs. If the item needs to be shipped back to Harvest Right for repair, a shipping credit will be provided.

Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer
This warranty applies only to freeze dryers operated in clean environments and used according to the instructions. The consumer is responsible for:
- Correct usage per the provided instructions.
- Proper installation and compliance with local electrical codes.
- Ensuring a stable, grounded power supply with adequate voltage. This includes replacing blown fuses, fixing wiring defects, and repairing loose connections.
- Operating the appliance in a clean, well-ventilated area with temperatures between 35°F (2°C) and 95°F (35°C).
- Ensuring no damage occurs during installation (e.g., do not lift the unit by the door).
- Properly maintaining the freeze dryer and vacuum pump.
- Ensuring that freeze-dried food or materials are completely dry before sealing.
- Using appropriate, durable containers that are properly sealed and prevent air or water from penetrating.
- Ensuring fresh, properly stored oxygen absorbers are included with freeze-dried material.
Harvest Right is not responsible for the quality of the freeze-dried products, their packaging, or any failure due to improper storage.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Modifications or third-party accessories.
- Indirect or incidental damages (e.g., property damage, lost profits).
- Service calls for non-defective issues.
- Damages from unauthorized service providers or parts.
- External factors like misuse, inadequate power supply, or acts of nature.
- Products with altered or removed serial numbers.
- Use of extension cords instead of a direct power supply connection.
- Personal injury claims or economic losses.
- Ownership transfers—if you are not the original purchaser, the warranty is void.
Service and Claims
It is the consumer's responsibility to verify the original purchase date. Retain your purchase receipt or any relevant payment proof for warranty claims.
