Harvest Right Warranty & Return Policy
Money-Back Guarantee
Customers can cancel their order before shipment and receive a refund, minus a 3% fee to cover the credit card charges incurred by Harvest Right.
Returns After Shipment
Once a freeze dryer has been shipped, returns are accepted within 30 days of the shipment date. Returns will be refunded minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
3-Year Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to all Harvest Right Freeze Dryers sold after February 1, 2019.
One-Year Full Warranty

Coverage: Available only for customers in the continental U.S. (48 states).

Warranty Period: One year from the original ship date.

Included: Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.

Harvest Right's Responsibility: We will repair or replace any defective parts related to workmanship or materials in the freeze dryer and/or vacuum pump.

Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for service call costs and any replacement parts required due to misuse or neglect. See the section "Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer" below for more details.
Limited 3-Year Warranty

Coverage Period: Applies to the second and third years after the original ship date.

Harvest Right's Responsibility: We will repair or replace parts of the sealed refrigeration system (compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing) if defects in workmanship or materials are found.

Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for diagnostic charges, transportation costs, and delivery expenses incurred due to service requirements.
Limited Warranty (Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico)

Coverage: As outlined above, with the same terms.

Service: Customers are responsible for arranging service through local providers or directly with Harvest Right-approved technicians.

Customer Costs: Customers must cover the costs for shipping products to a repair shop or technician travel fees. If shipping directly to Harvest Right for repair, a shipping credit may be provided.
Limited International Warranty

Coverage: Applies to all countries not covered in the sections above.

Warranty Period: One year from the original ship date.

Harvest Right's Responsibility: We offer support via phone and email, and will supply parts if necessary.

Customer Responsibility: Customers must cover local service costs, parts for misuse or neglect, and transportation of parts to and from Harvest Right.
Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer
This warranty is only valid for freeze dryers used in clean environments and operated according to Harvest Right’s instructions. Consumers must:
- Use the appliance properly, following all product instructions.
- Install the appliance correctly, according to the provided instructions and local electrical codes.
- Ensure a proper connection to a grounded power supply with adequate voltage and repair any electrical issues.
- Operate the appliance in a clean, well-ventilated area, not exceeding 95°F (35°C) or falling below 35°F (2°C).
- Avoid damage to the appliance during installation. Never lift the unit by the door.
- Maintain and operate the freeze dryer and vacuum pump as directed.
- Ensure food or other materials are thoroughly dry before packaging.
- Use durable, airtight containers that prevent moisture or air from entering.
- Use fresh, properly functioning oxygen absorbers in sealed containers with freeze-dried items.
Harvest Right is not responsible for the quality of freeze-dried food or materials, nor for the packaging of these materials.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover the following:
- Any modifications or aftermarket accessories that void the warranty.
- Consequential or incidental damages, including property damage or expenses resulting from breach of warranty.
- Service calls for non-defective issues.
- Damage caused by unauthorized service providers.
- Non-Harvest Right parts or parts from unapproved suppliers.
- External causes such as misuse, abuse, power issues, or acts of God.
- Products with altered or missing serial numbers.
- Use of an extension cord instead of a direct power connection.
- Personal injury claims or economic loss.
- Warranties are void if the original owner is not the purchaser of the freeze dryer.
Service & Warranty Validation
To validate your warranty, retain your delivery slip, purchase receipt, or another proof of purchase. This written warranty provides specific legal rights, and additional rights may vary by state.
