Customers may cancel orders before shipment for a refund, minus a 3% fee to cover credit card processing charges.
After shipment, customers can return their freeze dryers within 30 days for a refund, minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
3-Year Limited Warranty
All Harvest Right Freeze Dryer purchases made after February 1, 2019, are covered under this warranty.
1-Year Full Warranty
Valid only within the contiguous 48 U.S. states.
Warranty period: One year from the original shipping date.
Included: Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
Harvest Right will cover:
- Repairs or replacements (at our discretion) of any defective part in the freeze dryer or vacuum pump due to workmanship or material issues.
Consumer will cover:
- Service call costs and any replacement parts needed due to misuse or neglect. See "Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer" below.
Limited 3-Year Warranty
Valid for the second and third years from the original ship date.
Harvest Right will cover:
- Repairs or replacements (at our discretion) of parts in the sealed refrigeration system (compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing) if they fail due to defective materials or workmanship.
Consumer will cover:
- Diagnostic charges for determining defects and transportation costs for repair services.
Limited Warranty for Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico
Warranty periods as outlined above.
Included: Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
- Warranty service will be provided by either the customer or a local authorized service provider.
- Consumer is responsible for transportation costs to the repair facility or travel expenses for a technician visit.
- If shipping the unit directly to Harvest Right for repair, a shipping credit may be provided, based on current rates.
Limited International Warranty
Applies to all countries not listed above.
Warranty period: One year from the original shipping date.
Included: Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
Harvest Right will provide:
- Support via telephone and email only. Necessary parts will be provided at our discretion.
Consumer will cover:
- Local service costs, parts due to misuse, and shipping costs for parts sent to the consumer.
Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer
This warranty applies only to freeze dryers used in clean environments and operated according to Harvest Right instructions. The consumer is responsible for:
- Using the appliance per the provided instructions.
- Proper installation according to local electrical codes.
- Correct connection to a grounded power supply and maintaining the appliance's wiring and components.
- Operating the appliance in a clean, well-ventilated space with temperatures between 35°F (2°C) and 95°F (35°C).
- Avoiding damage during installation or handling (do not lift by the door).
- Properly maintaining and operating the freeze dryer and vacuum pump.
- Ensuring freeze-dried foods or other materials are fully dry before packaging.
- Using durable containers that seal tightly and prevent air or water penetration.
- Including adequate, fresh oxygen absorbers in the sealed container and ensuring they are not expired or prematurely exposed to air.
Harvest Right is not responsible for the quality of freeze-dried foods or materials, nor for their packaging.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Modifications or aftermarket accessories, which void the warranty entirely.
- Incidental or consequential damages, including property damage or additional expenses from any breach of this warranty.
- Service calls for issues not related to defective workmanship or materials.
- Damages from unauthorized service providers.
- Non-Harvest Right parts or parts from other suppliers.
- External causes such as misuse, inadequate power supply, or acts of God.
- Products with altered or removed serial numbers.
- Use of an extension cord instead of a direct connection to a grounded power supply.
- Claims for personal injuries, incidental damages, or economic losses.
- Warranty is void if the consumer is not the original owner of the freeze dryer.
Service
