Money Back Guarantee:
Customers can cancel their orders prior to shipment and receive a refund minus a 3% fee to cover credit card processing costs incurred by Harvest Right.
Returns after Shipment:
Once a freeze dryer has shipped, customers may return it within 30 days of the shipping date for a refund. The refund will exclude shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
3-Year Limited Warranty
Coverage:
This warranty applies to all Harvest Right Freeze Dryers purchased after February 1, 2019.
One-Year Full Warranty
Coverage Area: Continental U.S. (48 states)
Warranty Period: 1 year from original shipping date.
Included: Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
Harvest Right’s Responsibility:
We will repair or, at our discretion, replace any parts of the freeze dryer or vacuum pump that prove defective due to workmanship or materials.
Consumer Responsibility:
The consumer will be responsible for any service call charges and may also need to cover the cost of replacement parts resulting from misuse or neglect of the product. See the "Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer" section for more details.
Limited 3-Year Warranty
Coverage Period: Years 2 and 3 from the original shipping date.
Harvest Right’s Responsibility:
We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any defective parts in the sealed refrigeration system (including compressor, condenser, evaporator, and tubing) due to workmanship or material flaws.
Consumer Responsibility:
Consumers are responsible for diagnostic charges to determine defects, as well as any transportation or delivery costs for service.
Limited Warranty (Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico)
The same warranty periods as outlined above apply, but service will be provided by the consumer or an authorized local service provider approved by Harvest Right. Consumers will be responsible for shipping costs to a repair facility or technician travel fees. If the product must be shipped to Harvest Right for repairs, a shipping credit may be provided, based on the circumstances and determined by Harvest Right.
Limited International Warranty
Coverage Period: 1 year from original shipping date.
Included: Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
Support: Available through phone and email. Necessary parts will be provided by Harvest Right at its discretion.
Consumer Responsibility:
The consumer is responsible for local service charges, replacement parts due to misuse or neglect, and transportation costs for parts shipped from Harvest Right.
Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer:
This warranty applies only to freeze dryers used in clean environments and operated according to Harvest Right’s guidelines. The consumer must ensure the following:
- Proper use of the appliance, following the provided instructions.
- Proper installation in compliance with the instructions and local electrical codes.
- Connection to a grounded power source with sufficient voltage; responsibility for replacing blown fuses, fixing loose connections, or addressing house wiring defects.
- Operation in a clean, well-ventilated area where the temperature is between 35°F (2°C) and 95°F (35°C).
- Preventing damage during or after installation, such as lifting the unit by the door.
- Routine maintenance and proper operation of the freeze dryer and vacuum pump.
- Ensuring freeze-dried food or materials are fully dried before packaging.
- Using appropriate, durable containers that are airtight and waterproof once sealed.
- Including fresh, unexpired oxygen absorbers in sealed containers. These should not have been exposed to air for excessive periods.
Harvest Right is not responsible for the quality of freeze-dried food or materials, nor the packaging of those items.
Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover:
- Any modifications or third-party accessories added to the unit.
- Consequential or incidental damages, including property damage or expenses related to warranty breaches.
- Service calls unrelated to product defects or malfunctions.
- Damage resulting from unauthorized services.
- Parts not supplied by Harvest Right or third-party components.
- External causes such as abuse, misuse, power supply issues, or natural disasters.
- Products with altered or removed serial numbers.
- The use of extension cords instead of direct connections to the power supply.
- Claims for personal injury, incidental damages, or economic losses.
- The warranty is void if the product is not owned by the original purchaser.
Service:
To validate the warranty period, the consumer is responsible for keeping the original purchase record (delivery slip, receipt, or payment record).
