Product Warranty and Return Policy

Hard Parts Warranty:

• Coverage: The warranty applies to defects in materials and/or workmanship on hard parts such as frames, plastics, struts, and brackets.
• Duration: 3 years from the original purchase date.
• Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage to finishes (plating, paint, discoloration, rust), or normal wear and tear.
• Conditions: The warranty will only cover parts that are proven defective under normal use. Damage resulting from abuse, misuse, improper installation, or modifications will not be covered.
• Return Process: To receive a replacement, the defective part must be returned first, or an agreement must be made before sending out a replacement part.
• Labor and Third-Party Costs: Badass Tents does not reimburse for installation or disassembly labor, painting, or any third-party vendor services.

Soft Parts Warranty:

• Coverage: Applies to fabrics, clothing, patches, and decals.
• Exclusions: Once used, soft parts like fabrics and windows are not covered for damage (tears, rips, or wear from usage). Any damage from improper use (such as getting stuck during setup or dog damage) is not covered.
• Repairs: Soft parts can be repaired at cost through the manufacturer if damage occurs during adventures.
• Conditions: Damage caused by wind, UV exposure, mold, mildew, or rust is not covered. Similarly, fiberglass poles that split due to improper setup are not covered by the warranty.

Warranty Terms:

• Alterations: Any modifications to the product automatically void the warranty.
• Proof of Purchase: A valid sales receipt or online order confirmation is required for warranty service or replacements. Bank/credit card statements are not accepted as proof of purchase.
• Original Purchaser: The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable.

Product Returns:

• Return Window: Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for a full refund minus a 15% restocking fee.
• Return Conditions: Products must be in new condition, unopened. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.

Failure to follow the load ratings and properly account for added weight can also void warranties, damage the vehicle, or impact insurance coverage.
