Product Warranty and Return Policy
Hard Parts Warranty
Hard parts include: Frame, Plastics, Struts, and Brackets.
All of our products come with a 3-year warranty against defects in material and/or workmanship. This warranty covers parts that prove to be defective under normal use. Please note that it does not cover issues related to finishes such as plating or painted surfaces, discoloration, rust, or damage resulting from abuse, misuse, improper installation, or modifications. Normal wear and tear is also not covered.
In the event of a defect, we will repair or replace the defective part after receiving the original part back. Replacement parts will only be shipped once we have the defective part in hand or if there is prior agreement.
Important Notes:
- We do not refund shop labor, painting costs, or third-party service fees.
- The warranty does not cover damage due to improper setup, or wear caused by environmental factors like wind, UV exposure, rust, mold, or mildew.
- Fiberglass poles occasionally split and are not covered by the warranty, regardless of age.
- Alterations or modifications to the product will void the warranty.
To request warranty service, you must return the defective item along with your original sales receipt. Bank or credit card statements are not accepted as proof of purchase. The warranty is non-transferable and is only valid for the original retail purchaser.
Soft Parts Warranty
Soft parts include: Fabrics, Clothing, Patches, and Decals.
Your Badass Tent is thoroughly inspected before shipping, but once you start using it, the warranty does not cover damage such as rips, tears, or other wear caused by misuse (e.g., getting stuck during setup, pet damage, etc.). Fabrics and materials are not impervious to damage from regular use. If damage does occur, we can assist you with repairs at cost through our manufacturer.
Product Return Information
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, so we offer a 30-day return policy. If you're not happy with your Badass Tents product, you can return it for a refund, minus a 15% restocking fee. The refund will be issued in the same form as the original payment.
Important Notes:
- Returns are only accepted within 30 days of receipt. No exceptions, even if the package is unopened.
- Return shipping costs are not covered by the warranty.
- Shipping costs for defective items are also not covered under warranty.

When using a roof rack, it’s important to understand your vehicle’s load rating. This information is typically found in your vehicle's owner’s manual. Here’s a breakdown of the load ratings you should know:

Warning: It’s critical not to overload your vehicle. Overloading could result in:
- Damage to your vehicle
- Loss of your load
- Voiding of your warranty or insurance
- Safety risks, including traffic accidents
Always follow your vehicle’s recommended load ratings to avoid these dangers. It's illegal to overload your vehicle, so avoid the “just wing it” mentality when carrying heavy or bulky items.
