Code-compliant roof exit for wood stoves.
For to-code installations where the chimney runs straight up through the roof of your dome, this metal flashing maintains the required 2" total clearance around insulated stovepipe. The kit is designed for full-size wood-burning stoves using a 6" stove pipe and an insulated chimney.

What’s included:
Outer metal flashing sized for 8" OD (fits 6" ID insulated chimney), interior aluminum oval collar, storm collar, vinyl collar color-matched to your dome, and specialized vinyl cement glue. The assembly can be located anywhere on your dome (or zome) with a roof pitch up to ~45°, and no pre-manufactured opening is required.

Recommended chimney size:
We recommend an 8" outer-diameter insulated chimney for most installs. It’s lighter, easier to handle, typically does not require a separate support bracket, and pairs perfectly with standard 6" stove pipe. If your local code mandates a larger system, we can supply a kit for 10" OD insulated chimneys—contact us by email for this option.

8" vs 10" insulated chimney (at a glance):
Unless your building code specifies 10" OD, choose 8" OD to simplify installation and reduce cost. The 10" OD system is heavier, more awkward to work with, and usually needs additional chimney support—especially in windy regions. Many big box stores stock 10" OD; professional fireplace suppliers typically carry 8" OD.
