The Swift M is Velowave's only mid-drive e-bike, and it rides fundamentally differently than every hub motor bike in the lineup. The MOTINOVA Pegasi Plus mid-drive motor delivers 100Nm of torque through the drivetrain - meaning the motor works with the Shimano 8-speed cassette to maintain optimal efficiency across all terrain. The torque sensor responds in 10 milliseconds, creating a ride feel that is closer to a traditional bicycle than any hub motor system can achieve. At just 59 lbs, this is the lightest Velowave model.

Designed for committed commuters and fitness-oriented riders, the Swift M runs on 27.5" x 2.1" Kenda tires that prioritize rolling efficiency over fat tire grip. A 100mm hydraulic suspension fork with lockout handles rough pavement, Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors provide reliable stopping, and a reinforced KMC E8S chain handles the higher torque loads of mid-drive power. This is a pedal-assist-only bike with no throttle - it is built for riders who want to ride, not just cruise. Rack and fenders come standard.
