Product Description

The IMER 3225846 is a genuine IMER Ø 40 mm washing sponge for the Mighty Small 50, listed by IMER as the "Small 50 hopper cap – washing sponge." It plugs the hopper outlet and is used in IMER's end-of-day cleaning procedure, where sponge balls are pushed through the material hoses with water to clear out residual material.

How It's Used

Per IMER's Small 50 manual, after washing the hopper, insert sponge balls into the material hoses (still full of material), reconnect them to the outlet manifold, and run the machine with clean water. Cleaning is complete when the sponges come out the far end of the hoses. Clean hoses help prevent material from setting up inside them and extend hose life.
