The Brawny XM is the most powerful bike in the Velowave lineup. A 1000W motor peaking at 1200W delivers 160Nm of torque - double the output of the Ranger series - through a torque sensor that keeps power delivery smooth and controlled even at these output levels. With 37 MPH on pedal assist and up to 85 miles of range from the 48V 20Ah LG battery (960Wh), this is an off-road class e-bike built for riders who want serious performance on trails, fire roads, and rugged terrain.

Full suspension separates the Brawny from everything else Velowave makes. An air suspension fork with 100mm travel and lockout handles the front, while a Rockshox RS-MNR-R-C4 rear shock provides 44mm of additional travel with external rebound adjustment - totaling 139mm of combined frame travel. The 26" x 4.8" Kenda fat tires (the widest in the lineup) pair with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and a Shimano 10-speed drivetrain with Deore derailleur. A TFT color display and 6-level pedal assist round out a package that is purpose-built for off-road performance. No fenders or rack - this bike is about trail capability, not commuting.
