Product Description
The MultiPlus-II is a high-performance multifunction inverter/charger that includes all the capabilities of the original MultiPlus, with the added advantage of an external current sensor. This enhancement extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions up to 100A, enabling more precise power management.
Users can define a maximum allowable current from the grid or generator. The MultiPlus-II continuously monitors connected AC loads and directs any available excess power toward battery charging, effectively preventing overload conditions through its PowerControl functionality.
PowerAssist further enhances system performance by supplementing limited generator, shore, or grid power with energy drawn from the battery during short-duration peak demands. Once the load decreases, unused capacity is automatically redirected to recharge the battery, ensuring optimal efficiency.
Engineered for both off-grid and grid-connected applications, the MultiPlus-II integrates seamlessly with PV systems and other alternative energy sources. It is fully compatible with solar charge controllers as well as grid-tied inverters.
