The MultiPlus-II 2x120V offers an all-in-one mobile solution for standard North American 50A 120/240VAC split-phase systems. Whether powered by shore power or a generator, the MultiPlus-II 2x120V can accept and pass through both lines of a 120/240V supply, utilizing the full 50A capacity for both charging and AC loads. When connected to a single-phase 120V supply, the L1 input accepts incoming power for both charging and passthrough, while combining the L1 and L2 outputs to deliver single-phase 120V on both lines.
In the absence of an AC source, the MultiPlus automatically switches to inverter mode, providing a 120V single-phase output. When in inverter mode, the MultiPlus-II 2x120V internally links both L1 and L2 lines, supplying 120VAC to the loads on either output. Regardless of connection type, both sides of the distribution panel will always receive 120V. However, 240VAC is only available when the MultiPlus is supplied by a 120/240VAC split-phase source, preventing high-power appliances like water heaters or 240V air conditioners from draining the battery.
The MultiPlus-II 2x120V includes all the features you'd expect from our versatile inverter/charger range, such as PowerControl, PowerAssist, Input Current Limit, and two AC outputs. It also supports parallel and three-phase configurations for larger VE.Bus systems, making it compatible with LiFePO4 and other battery technologies.
