Customers can cancel orders before shipment for a refund, minus a 3% fee to cover credit card charges incurred by Harvest Right.

Once the freeze dryer has shipped, returns are accepted within 30 days of the shipping date, with a refund minus shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.

3-Year Limited Warranty:
All Harvest Right Freeze Dryers sold after February 1, 2019, are covered by this warranty.

• Full 1-Year Warranty: Covers the U.S. mainland (48 contiguous states).

  • Warranty Period: One year from the original ship date.
  • Includes: Premier oil vacuum pump and oil-free vacuum pumps.
  • Coverage: Repair or replacement of defective parts due to workmanship or material faults.
  • Consumer Responsibility: Costs for service calls and replacement parts due to misuse.

• Limited 3-Year Warranty (Years 2 & 3):

  • Coverage: Repair or replacement of sealed refrigeration system components (compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing) due to defects in material or workmanship.
  • Consumer Responsibility: Diagnostic charges and transportation costs.

Limited Warranty for Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico:

• Coverage: Same terms as above, except service is provided by a qualified local service provider approved by Harvest Right, and the consumer is responsible for transportation or technician travel costs.

Limited International Warranty:

• Coverage: One year from the original ship date.
  • Consumer Responsibility: Local service costs and transportation fees for parts and repair.

Consumer Responsibilities:

This warranty applies only when the freeze dryer is used in clean, well-ventilated environments and operated per Harvest Right’s instructions. The consumer is responsible for:

1. Proper usage as outlined in the product manual.
2. Correct installation and electrical connections.
3. Ensuring proper air circulation and temperatures between 35°F (2°C) and 95°F (35°C).
4. Ensuring the appliance is not damaged during installation or operation.
5. Regular maintenance and correct operation of the freeze dryer and vacuum pump.
6. Ensuring materials are fully dry before packaging.
7. Using durable, sealed containers that prevent air or moisture ingress.
8. Including fresh, properly stored oxygen absorbers in sealed containers.

Harvest Right does not take responsibility for the quality of freeze-dried materials or the packaging of those materials.

Exclusions:

1. Modifications or aftermarket accessories void the warranty.
2. Consequential or incidental damages (e.g., property damage, loss of profits).
3. Service calls unrelated to defects in material or workmanship.
4. Damage from non-authorized services or parts.
5. External factors such as misuse, power issues, or acts of nature.
6. Altered or missing serial numbers.
7. Use of an extension cord instead of a direct connection to a power source.
8. Personal injury or economic loss claims.
9. Warranty is void if the product is not owned by the original purchaser.
